How to Get Indexed By Google

14th April, 2011 - Posted by admin - 1 Comment

I put up a website for a search term that had a .com exact match domain. If you’re not sure what I mean, I found a keyword phrase (“keyword phrase geomodifier”) where the .com keywordphrasegeomodifier.com was available.

The site was created in wordpress on April 13th at 4pm CST.

By April 14th at 6:32pm CST – it was indexed.

I pinged it last night.

I pinged it on Pingler this afternoon.

By 6:30 pm approx 24 hours later – it was indexed.

Now to navigate to page 1.

1. publish in wordpress

2. put video content on site

3. Ping the URL after site is published Pingoat

4. Ping the URL the next day on Pingler

The way to find out if your website is in the index

site:http://www.yourdomain.com

if your site is in the index the pages will list – if its not – it will tell you no pages.

How long does it take for your new site to get indexed by Google?

Let me know.

Follow up – 24 hours later – there are now 9 pages of the site indexed. Next stop – see where its ranking or tanking!
