I have had the most interesting of weeks. After a year of intense analysis paralysis, I formed a very strong new rocket of desire (as my friend calls all those moments in my life when I really just want to take my toys and go home) that it was important for me to find a mentor. Someone who understood but didn’t let me wallow – someone who would spur me on – read: kick my a$$ about the earning money part.

OK, I held this feeling and desire for as long as I could. Lest it sound like I spent the afternoon – I’m talking about around 30 seconds.

Then I went to my office for the day. Came home and there was an email from someone who I had been following for a while inviting me (and I’m sure everyone else on her list) to an internet playground where she would provide accountability in exchange for splits of income. Hum, coincidence?

I didn’t think so either.

So I played.

My first result was a website that was extremely lame on monetization. She kindly told me as much and said you can come up with something that would work.

Then inspiration struck. I came up with an idea – searchable term, a specific type of search term, a clickbank product and a way to build a list.

For the the first, I mean absolutely first time, I felt like what I thought it felt like to be an internet marketer.

OK, now I’d like to experience it along with a clickbank check.
